The Job:
Psychiatrist, public health expert or clinical psychologist with international experience required. Main tasks include supporting the development and implementation of the health policy of the IRCT (i.e. treatment, research etc.), facilitating quality development of rehabilitation of torture survivors in close collaboration with IRCT members, contributing to the development of tools and programmes for monitoring and evaluation of treatment approaches, and facilitating capacity development and exchange of knowledge, including dissemination of research and knowledge on treatment methodologies. The successful candidate will also train member centre staff as part of capacity building, facilitate the development of new training materials on rehabilitation approaches, provide medical input to other IRCT activities and contribute to the design, development, implementation and evaluation of IRCT projects and programmes.
