A reputable publisher based in Lebanon is searching for candidates for the position of ELT Senior Editor, to be based in their offices outside Beirut. The successful candidate will manage designated projects, working principally on multi-component ELT courses for use in primary and secondary schools throughout the Arab world. They will brief and supervise in-house editors as required and liaise with all personnel related to each project, ensuring that all books are produced to schedule and to the required standard. The role will also include some travel within the Arab world to give presentations. With good editorial skills the successful candidate will have an ELT qualification, solid teaching experience as well as relevant educational publishing experience. A strong team player, they will need to show a sound understanding of the requirements of classroom teaching. |
