An opportunity to benefit underprivileged children who lack the opportunity to succeed. This is a paid position with an allowance of around R500 each week, fully supported by fellow volunteers and coaching staff. All coaching methods, ideas and tricks will be explained in full, ranging from technical bowling actions to beach cricket. Each Saturday successful candidates will represent one of the sides in the local premier competition or open grade, depending on ability. It is important to submit a 'cricket CV’, so the coach can allocate a side appropriate to playing level and experience. For players with experience of playing at regional or county level, there will be opportunities to play at Boland Park, one of Cape Town's iconic cricket locations.
